Birth Supporters United understands the importance of setting up a good nutritional system from the very beginning. That’s why we have a number of team members who offer Lactation Counseling for families who have opted to give breastfeeding a chance.

Breastmilk is full of vitamins and antibodies that are customized to meet your baby’s nutritional and health needs. So we know how important it is to families who want to optimize this time. We want to be able to support all family types–whether they choose breastmilk or formula.

This service includes:

• 1 counseling session between one to two hours long working with mom and baby on breastfeeding techniques
• Latch check and guidance
• Breastfeeding suggested positions for mom and baby
• Feeding plan
